Well. Only one thing could be said.... Where the hell did the ref do his training????????? Firstly saints started well causing the pars problems and coming close to an early opener. As the match continued sadly for the pars petrie who clashed with kane and ended up with a broken leg. As more tackles came in saints temper flaired as the ref seemed inable to produce cards to the pars. As saints became more unlucky with their efforts dunfermline broke awaay and should have opened the scoring when crawfords shot was saved by main but as the rebound fell for nichollan who kick the ball towards the empty net....only for mo sylla to clear. Then a ridiculas decision a crawford run seemed to be upended by weir from a small shirt tug, which crawford stayed on his feet from and then went down after losing the ball. So after saints had made a break the linesman spokle to the ref and suggested he award a penaltey. So crawford gave the pars a half time lead. After the whistle several players surrounded the ref and crawford and it was clear that not one was a happy bunny. Into the second half and straight away saints were level, again a penalty scored by jones. After this the game became a low key encounter only the cock up from the ref and saints missing a few chances. The ame ended on a low for saints as mcbride was sent off for a second booking. |
