Welcome to the law Enforcement Explorer Program.
L.E. Explorers are the second closest thing to cops. Explorers mostly do security,direct traffic, set up events and issue citations to traffic violaters while with a cop. This gives the youth between the ages of 14 - 19yrs the experience of what cops really do, apposed to t.v. and movies.

The explorers get a chance to learn about the special units of the police department. They go through classroom training, as well as physical training. Explorers graduate in a class and selected members from the senior class (been there for a while) will be ranked by President(almost equevalent to a seargent), Vice President (almost equevelant to corporal[My Rank !!!]), a secratary (no, not private, just secratary), and last but not least there is a Treasurer. The group that is graduating will recieve a patch(looks like a badge!! sorry!!! pictue not available at the moment.

The class that graduated before are then called senior explorers. The group that are graduating will be called rookies!!!

This program is community service, and will knock off a couple of points on the test to become an officer. This page is now open to the public.
