Here is a summary of each television show I like to watch that are a little under-rated. If you've never heard of these shows before, good! This is the perfect time for you to see what the show is really about and hopefully you'll be hooked. Enjoy.
Due South Homicide: Life On The Street Hercules: The Legendary Series
The Simpsons Mad TV The Drew Carey Show
DUE SOUTH
Back from Cancellation Land is this little show about an irresistable Mountie, a streetwise Chicago cop cutie and a charming little wolf/dog. The tv people brought the show back from cancellation people! How much more do I have to say?
HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET NBC - Friday at 10:00pm
This show is about the everyday activities of the Baltimore Police Homicide Division. I love this show because of its superb acting, excellent writing and original camera angles. I can't believe Andre Braugher hasn't won an Emmy for his portrayal of Detective Frank Pembleton yet, and now he is leaving the show after six years. He is an awesome actor! This show has the ability to make me feel some sort of emotion by the end of the hour whether it is sadness or shock or pity or whatever. This show rocks and everybody should watch it.
HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEY UPN - Sunday at 4:00pm
Yes I watch this show. If it wasn't for my facination with Greek
mythology and one totally unproductive Sunday afternoon, I might not have noticed the good qualities of this show and I'm not talking about Kevin Sorbo (Hercules). It's funny and has really cool special effects. There are bits and pieces that refer to the 1990s too, the rest is kind of hokey but in a good way.
THE SIMPSONS Fox - Sunday at 8:00pm
Welcome to the wonderful world of the dysfunctional family. What can be said about this cartoon of the 90's that hasn't already been said before? Just watch it. It's funny.
MAD TV Fox - Saturday at 11:00pm
This show is like Saturday Night Live except it is MUCH funnier,
doesn't always have a weekly special guest host and there's no band. The cast is fresh, the skits are original and there are Spy Vs. Spy cartoons. What more can a person ask for?
THE DREW CAREY SHOW ABC - Wednesday at 9:00pm
This show is SO funny!!! The relationship between Drew Carey's
character and Mimi is so freging hilarious. They hate each other so much and their insults are so original..it's gold!! Supporting cast adds to the funnyness. (yea Canadian Ryan Stiles!)
