My name is Robert Alanis and I live in the providence of Andalusia in a town called Utrera, Spain. Utrera is about 20 minutes south of the city of Sevilla. I was born and raised Houston, Texas. Some of the other places I've lived include Biloxi, MS, San Antonio, TX, Osan, South Korea. I'm a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force with five years time in Service. My previous assignments include Lackland AFB, Texas (Basic Training), Kessler AFB, MS (Technical Training), Brooks AFB, TX (1st Duty Assignment), Osan AB, Republic of Korea (2nd Duty Assignment), and now Moron AB, Spain (Current Duty Assignment). I'm a communications and computer system specialist for the 496 Air Base Squadron with five years experience in network administration on Windows based networks and Unix systems. My awards and decorations include: Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal (one oak leaf cluster), Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Short Tour Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Ribbon, Professional Military Education Ribbon, and Air Force Training Ribbon. Awards: Airman of the year (Air Force Research Laboratory Human Effectiveness Directorate) 1999, Communication Professional of the Year (7th Air Force, PACAF) 2001.
