Today, women's lacrosse is the best sport on the planet: it takes strength, skill and strategy, and is beautiful when played well. This site is dedicated to
spreading women's lacrosse across the country and around the globe. It will give you all
kinds of information about the sport, including how to bring it to your school or
institution.
Lacrosse began as a sport played by Native American Indians in preparation for war. It was played very much like it is by women today: a ball is passed in the air from stick to stick until a player has a shot at the goal. There were, and are, no boundaries to the field.
