QUICK DESCRIPTION OF UWH.

UWH is a fast moving game involving two teams of up to 10 players. This consists of 6 players in the water and 4 reserves.

Being fit and being able to hold your breath is an advantage for this sport but anyone of any age is able to play.

The aim of the game is to get a lead puck ( similar to an ice hockey puck) into your oppositions goal which is a metal tray at the bottom of the other end of the pool.

EQUIPMENT

All that is needed to play UWH is a set of flippers, a mask, snorkel, a glove and a bat.

The bats are usually home made and are about 30 cm long, and are used flat on the bottom of the pool.

WHERE TO PLAY

In Adelaide it is played at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre. Times are:

Sunday 6-8pm ; Training.

Monday 7-9pm ; Training.

Thursday 7:30-9:30pm ; Games
