19Us are Central District USA Hockey AAA Champions!
The Caps 19U team is again the Central District Tier 1 representative to the USA Hockey National Championships!  The 19s claimed that honor with a two game sweep of Team Illinois at Glacier Ice Arena north of Chicago. With 3-2 & 4-2 victories and a 12 game winning streak in hand, the team now heads off to Rochester, NY for the 2004 Tournament.

16U team wins Wisconsin AAA Championship!!

19U team wins Wisconsin AAA Championship!!

  The Madison Capitols 19U team wins the WAHA Wisconsin State 19U AAA Championship with a two game sweep of the Wisconsin Wild at the Ponds in Brookfield. Friday night, the Caps posted a 3-0 shutout and then followed it up with a 6-3 victory on Saturday.

 Weekend tournament wins in Siren, WI give team an 8 game winning streak as they head into the Wisconsin State AAA Playoffs in Brookfield, March 12-14.  Outscore opponents 21-5!                 
16U Caps extend unbeaten streak to 17 games! (15-0-2)

Madison Capitols represented well at the 19th Connecticut Polar Bears Holiday AAA Tournament in & around Hartford Dec. 27-30.
19U, 16U & 14U teams combine for a very respectable 6-4-2 record
 against some of the best girls hockey teams in North America.

19U team finishes strong with two straight 3-0 shutouts for a 2nd place finish in the division & a 
2-1-1 tournament record.		 16U team finishes with three straight wins (two shutouts) for a 3-1-0 tournament record.

Madison Capitols take two Tournament Championships!
 Capitols 12U & 14U teams conquer the competition at the
All-American Girls' & Women's Ice Hockey Tournament! 

The Madison Capitols 14 & under team gave a dominating performance this past weekend at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota.  The 14U Caps outscored Minnesota teams 17-6 in route to 3 victories & the tournament championship!

The Madison Capitols 12 & under team participated with 5 other teams in the All American Girls’
12 & Under A National Division in Blaine Minnesota, Nov. 21-23, 2004.  The Capitols 12Us battled to the top of their bracket on Saturday Nov. 22nd, winning against the Centennial Cougars,
2-1, in their first game.  For their second contest of the day, the 12Us made an exciting come back from a 3-0 deficit to tie the Lakers, scoring 3 goals in the third period, with two of those goals in the last 2 minutes of play.  The win and tie qualified them as the top team in their bracket and they advanced to the Championship round on Sunday, Nov. 23.  The Madison Capitols dominated the Championship round, winning the game, 6-0.  Tough defense, unfailing determination, wide-ranging scoring ability, and rock-solid goaltending were the combination that brought the first place trophy home for 12Us.  Awesome job, ladies!

19U team has very successful Showcase Weekend at Capitol Ice!
 High School girls sweep 3 straight games from 3 league foes.
The Madison Capitols 19 & under team improved their Midwest Elite AAA league record to 6-2 for the 2003-04 season, by winning 3 games by a combined score of 14-1.  Saturday morning, the 19s beat the Colorado Select team from Denver 6-0. Saturday evening, they beat the Little Caesars team from Detroit 4-1.  Then on Sunday morning, the score in a very physical game against the Michigan Capitals was 4-0 Caps!  Great offensive teamwork, solid defense and excellent goaltending combined to extend the 19s current winning streak to 4 games.  Great work, girls!

19U team wins Blue Division Championship in USA International Hockey Cup Tournament at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota!
  The Madison Capitols 19 & under team is off to a great start in the 2003-04 hockey season. The 19Us placed First in the Blue division of the USA International Hockey Cup Tournament with an overall record of 4 wins and 1 loss.  The Capitol girls outscored their opponents 21-7 in the 5 game tournament featuring teams from Manitoba, Minnesota & Wisconsin.

16U, 14U & 12U teams wrap up USA International Hockey Cup Tournament in Minnesota, with big WINS in their final games!
The Madison Capitols 14 & under team completed a successful tournament with a thrilling 4-3 DOUBLE OVERTIME VICTORY in the Championship game of the Blue Division, as they avenged an earlier loss to the Minnesota Raptors!  Way to go 14s!
  
The Madison Capitols 12 & under team completed their tournament on a winning note with an exciting 1-0 SHUT-OUT VICTORY over the White Bear Ice Dogs.  Great Job!
  
The Madison Capitols 16 & under team recovered from a series of very close losses to post a hard fought 3-2 WIN in their final game against the SE Storm.  Congrats!

12U team wins Silver at USA Hockey Nationals in Philadelphia!
  The Madison Capitols 12 & under team advanced all the way to the national championship game at the USA Hockey national tournament in the Philadelphia area April 2-6, 2003, before finally falling to the Assabet, Massachusetts team.

12U team qualifies for berth in 2003 USA Hockey National tournament!
The Madison Capitols 12 & under team qualified for an at-large berth in the USA Hockey National Championship Tournament today.  The 12Us took eventual Central District champions Team Illinois into overtime of the third game in the best of three series, before falling to the team from Chicago.  Next stop, Philadelphia!

  The Madison Capitols 19U team wins the Wisconsin State 19U AAA championship after a thrilling come-from-behind 4-3 third period win over arch rival Wisconsin Wild in the third game of the three game series at Capitol Ice on Sunday.

19U team wins American division and reaches quarter finals of the Connecticut Polar Bears tournament!
The Capitols win the 6 team American division of the 30 team Tier 1 AAA tournament with a 3-1-1 record to advance to the final round of the annual holiday tournament.
