March 21..... Weweantic River.............

Our Annual "Ice-Breaker" on a small, fast stream in Carver/Wareham.

Be prepared for any and all weather, bushwacks & high anxiety!

March 28 Nemasket River.............

This is a pleasant quickwater run from Vaughan St. to Oliver Mill Park, Middleboro

April 3 Hockamock Swamp ... Great birding river in Bridgewater

April 11...... Ipswich River............. Club favorite on the north shore. Rt. 62 to Topsfield Fair section

April 18...........Upper Charles River .. We'll do about 7 miles a nice warm-up for the next trip on the Upper Charles.

April 23-25... West River.....................

Dam release weekend in scenic Jamaica, Vt. There is a section of river suitable for all

skill levels. Call now for camp reservation info

April 25 ...... Lower Nemasket............. Starts at Oliver Mill Park in Middleboro.

May 1..... Moonlight Paddle on Fairhaven Bay.... On the night of the full moon, this trip offers a different view of a river and its night life.

A short paddle on the Sudbury to our private island. Bring firewood, munchies & a light.

May 8….. L. Nipucket/Hockamock… A new perspective of the Hockomock Swamp.

May 22-27….. Allagash Wilderness Waterway…

This is a semi-wilderness adventure for experienced campers. Churchill Dam- Allagash

Village at a tourist’s pace. Space is limited & require permits-call early for details

May 22 Blackstone River................ Birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, the Blackstone is being considered

for inclusion in theAmerican Heritage Rivers program

May 29-31… Deerfield River………………

Base camp and enjoy Olde Deerfield as well as this wonderful river.

.June 6 Charles River … An 11 mile paddle through marsh and woodland with baby

ducks, blue herons, barn swallows and who knows what.

June 19-20..... Battenkill River.....................

This classic Vermont Stream provides shallow paddling, and lot’s to see and

do in the surrounding towns. Call early for camping details/reservations.

June 26 Moonlight on the Upper Charles Bring Fire wood, a lantern and a story.

July (tbd)....... Trip Planning Meeting/Pool Party..

Plan the next schedule of events & party at the same time! BYOB and salad or dessert.

July 17…. Palmer River…………………. A gentle tidal river that has the biggest

Snapping turtles I've ever seen!!!! A beautiful River that meanders through

Woodlands and tidal meadows.

Aug. 7-8.... Delaware River.................. Camp on the banks of the river. We have the option of five 10-mile trips in the area and

hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Call for reservations.

To join us on a trip> contact the trip leader by mid-week of a day trip and call a month in advance for camping trips that will require reservations. Day trips usually start at 10 with a stop along the way for lunch. You must have your own paddling/camping equipment, life jackets (which must be worn by law Sept.-May and by children at all times), ropes tied to both ends of your boat and a spare paddle.
