Hawks trade for Korolev, ship
Quintal to Montreal

On draft day the Hawks traded a third round pick to Toronto for Russian
canter/winger Igor Korolev who had previous success under GM Mike Smith
in both Winnipehg and in Toronto.
In another deal defenseman Stephane Quintal was dealt to Montreal,
a franchise he left two years ago asa free agent while signing a contract
with the New York Rangers, for a fourth round pick in this years draft.
