Sadly many other clubs are also
finding their very existences in doubt. Here is a list of those I know
about. If you would like your site
listed on here, you only have to ask...
BARNET
- Barnet's ground has fallen foul of the league regulations, and every
attempt to find a site for a new ground has been thwarted. Read about their
survival campaign at the KBA site.
CLYDEBANK fans are currently organising a boycott
of the club's home games in protest at their owners attempts to move the
club away from the town. See the United
Clydebank Supporters site for details.
DONCASTER ROVERS may at last have
successfully ousted Richardson and Weaver, but this
page is still well worth a look as one of the definitive football campaign
pages.
ENFIELD are involved in dodgy dealings surrounding
the proposed sale of their ground against the wishes of most fans. Read
about it at this handy Enfield
FAQ.
FARNBOROUGH TOWN, like Oxford once
were, are subject to a CVA to attempt to manage their debts. Read about
it at Farnborough Town
on the Web.
LINCOLN CITY fans have set up The
Way Forward to buy the freehold of Sincil Bank, and secure the future
of the club.
MANSFIELD TOWN have both money troubles
and ground-building troubles (sounds familiar...). Check out the details
at StagsNet and The
Stags.
MORTON fans are attempting to oust their chairman,
Hugh Scott, who recently attempted to sell their league status to non-league
Huntly. Check out these two sites for details - Morton
Unofficial & Greenock
Morton FC.
RUNCORN fans have set up an organisation named
Runcorn
FIRST, which is dedicated to keeping Runcorn FC playing in the town.
SCARBOROUGH fans are unhappy with
their regime, and are another club with dire money problems. See the Surfing
Seadog fanzine. (The Discussion Room makes interesting reading.)
STEVENAGE BOROUGH are currently having a run-in
with their local council over a lease on their ground. There is a possibility
the club may be wound up as a result. See the Official
Stevenage Borough Page for details (especially the Forum).
