Originally factory painted gold with a white vinyl roof 1976 Mustang II Ghia, the car was modified somewhat!! The heart of the car is the 302 which was warmed over with a 280 degree Competition Cam, 1977 flat top pistons (replacing the original 1976 dished pistons) for 10:1 compression, Weiand dual-plane manifold with a Holley 600 vacuum secondary carburetor.
Headman headers and Sonic Turbo mufflers exited out together on the passenger side of the rear bumper.
The C-4 transmission was given a Stage 2 shift kit and cooler (as seen in front of the radiator). Finally, note the elimination of the vinyl roof and smaller opera window instead of the usual stardard larger window. Anyone who has a car like this knows the pain I went through to have that filled in. This is what gives the car a unique look - the unspoiled body line from the roof to the wheel well. The car is smoke grey with mother-of-pearl shell added. Front spoiler is a factory King Cobra model add-on and the hood scoop is functional and necessary as the air cleaner pokes through.
Again, another car of mine in smoke grey, with white stripes. Only modification done was the installation of a 268 degree Competition Cam into the factory 350 small block. Factory installed heavy duty suspension and Muncie 4 speed, along with a Posi-Traction rear end made for a lot of fun - especially in the rain. Doughnuts, anyone?
