2001/7/5: Yesterday, the Earrh moved to its greatest distance from the sun this year. But summer heat in the Northern Hemisphere could actually intensify rather than diminish.
2001/7/4: A Russian passenger plane crashed and burned Tuesday in Siberia, and all 143 people on board were killed.
2001/6/22: Hi, everybody, I am back!
1999/10/14: I will join the army tomorrow, because it is my duty to do it in Taiwan. I think this is a new experience of LIFE. Therefore, I look forward to joining the army.
1999/10/07: An earthquake measuring 7.6 struck Taiwan on September 21. The quake which occurred at about 1:47 a.m. and centered in Nantou, located 150 km (90 miles) southwest of the capital, Taipei, caused more than 2,100 people to die and more than 9,900 buildings to collapse. Since the initial earthquake, more than 10,000 aftershocks have been registered.
1999/9/19: Recently, Taiwan baseball team had losed Asia Baseball Game and also the qualification to Olympic Game. However, facing the best players of Japan and Korea, they losed the game untill the last minute. Therefore, we should respect the spirit of the Taiwanese players.
1999/9/18: A new theory says that a violent blast of gamma-rays contributes to the formation of our planets. The burst could be the result of a stellar explosion called a supernova(see the figure), one of the most powerful of its kind in the universe's history. If this is true, solar systems like ours are really rare.
1999/9/16: Today is my homepage's BIRTHDAY! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you....
