Maktab Rendah Sains MARA Balik Pulau, Pulau Pinang Cooperative was registered in year 1986 based on the cooperative by laws ( Undang - undang Kecil Koperasi ).Starting from a wooden premise, our little facility grew as the enrolment number began to increase in MRSM BP. Our main objective,however remains the same and that is to provide service in terms of goods and facilities .We have been trying and are still hoping to develop together alongside other cooperatives, in other MRSMs as well as nationally.Even now, we are in the process of incorporating Information Technology ( I.T ) by establishing our very own homepage.

The organization is managed by the Cooperative Board Members ( Ahli Lembaga Koperasi ) comprising teachers and students .The students who manage this organization are called ALK..The students were chosen based on their interests as well as their personalities. They should be interested in business as well as creative , honest,trustworthy and responsible . Every year ten students will be chosen from the new batch by the current ALKs. At the moment , we have the current ALKs to select from succeding batch .

The facilitiesprovided by our cooperative are very important to ensure the best service to all, students as well as the college staff members . As our business progresses, we will continously provide more facilities, at the same time increasing the efforts of students and teachers.In our plan , we hope to provide more facilities as well as services for our members . A few worth mentioning are :

Activities directly related to our Co-op are also held each year .This is to provide the students with the information and also the opportunities to know ,understand and appreciate their Co-op better .
