The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport "One of the specialized organizations of the Arab League" was established in 1972 under the name "The Arab Academy For Naval Transportation". Due to the expansion of its educational and research activities,the social and economic council of the Arab League has agreed to change its name to "The Arab Academy For Science And Technology-specialized Naval Transport University" .
