This is my 12th year teaching full-time for Fresno City College.
My computer background began in 1970 while attending the University of
Wisconsin, where I was a Computer Operator for the University, operating an IBM
360 mainframe computer. (Lots has changed since then!!)
I started teaching microcomputer classes in 1981 at Hartnell college (in
Salinas), where my
husband was an administrator. Those classes were on the very first Apple
computers, using Visicalc.
We moved to Clovis in 1988, and I started teaching part-time for Fresno
City College in the Spring of 1988, and have been teaching for FCC ever since!
My husband is the Vice President of College of the Sequoias in Visalia. We
recently moved to Visalia.
I have a Ph.D. in Computer Technology in Education from the Graduate School of
Computer and Information Sciences at Nova Southeastern University.
