I have been a volunteer firefighter for three years now. In that time, I've had the opprotunity to train in many areas including structural fire supression, confined space rescue, ice rescue, extrication, and hazardous materials. I love the fire service and I hope to one day get to work on a paid fire department, but that day may never come. I will continue to work as a volunteer firefighter as long as I am able to.
