The poetry on this page was inspired mostly in my English 361 class, in which I studied Eliot and Williams extensively. Also, some of the more ribald and sophomoric poems are inspired by my camp friends, the people that have shown me how to be the big kid that I am today.
My journal entries wil be spotty at best. I am quite an active guy, and I don't have a ton of time to sit down and plaster my thoughts on the web. But, when I do, I'll be sure and share, and perhaps you'll find something familiar to you in them. Keep in mind that I write mainly for myself, so if I seen self-absorbed, that's because I'm trying to be, not because I'm a big jerk.
About me: I am an International Business major (sophomore) at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. In my free time, I like to fool around on the computer, play hockey on the Playstation, and hang out with my friends here. I play Ultimate frisbee and rugby (once the season starts) regularily, but I'll play pretty much any sport if given the chance. Um, my favorite (and only) stuffed animal is my talking fluffy Pikachu that wiggles his ears, but he is missing at the moment. He was last seen making eyes at a stuffed hippo named Pokey, somewhere on campus. If you know where he (or she?) is, drop me a line.
Contrary to popular belief, I don't pack baggage very well. References to "Master P" on this page will not be tolerated, and violators will be taken out back and beaten like baby seals.
