You may sign for an audition time at Room 253, Fine Arts Center.
Singups for auditions take place in the Music wing of the Fine Arts Center beginning the last week of August. (Second semester auditions are arranged directly with the individual ensemble directors.)
Auditions are brief -- and, it is hoped, painless. You will be asked to vocalize and sing short phrases to determine your vocal range and color, 'ear' and experience level. A prepared solo is NOT required, but is helpful, especially for Madrigal Singers, Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Choir.
PLEASE NOTE: Materials to be learned for Chamber Choir audition and vocal jazz ensemble callbacks should be picked up in the music office BEFORE those auditions.
Choral students will be available at the audition sites to answer questions about the ensembles.
