I don't write a lot of poetry. I don't have the time. But sometimes the more powerful feelings I have demand to be expressed. So I write them in poetry. Poetry seems to describe an experience so succinctly, while still allowing room for imagination and interpretation. Prose doesn't always allow that. So, here are the few poems I've written since college.
