INTERNATIONAL DINNER

University of Wisconsin - Whitewater
2000

Every year, at UW-Whitewater, we have an Intenational Dinner Party where international students kind of share their culture with other students, faculty members, host families and others.

For sure, we have 'International' food, like food from India, Japan, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Bahamas, Nigeria, Swedia, German etc.
Honestly, even if some of them taste different, they usually very very good!

After the meal, the students show their traditional customs by dancing, singing, story-telling or cultural ceremonies.
We even have fashion show, where the students show their traditional outfits and explain how or where these outfit usually used.

This year, the Indonesian students decided to perform Balinese dance, called Pendet. This dance usually perform for welcoming guests and the dance is one of the famous dance from Bali Island. Bellow is some pictures from the International Dinner
