Said one man to the other: As far as life goes, things are ok, but not great.
Yeah I miss the old days back in the village too. I have
met a few friends here, but it never feels the same. I get
along with some of my roommates, but its not like we
ever just hang out and chill. I have been worried about
what will happen once I actually leave school for good
and start working. I dont just want to come home every
day to an empty house and then go to bed. But I think
that these kind of things are more of a choice that
each person has to make, in order to become happier
with yourself. Its sort of like, when you are always
with your friends and always have something to do, you
dont think about the things that you can do by
yourself that make you happy, such as a hobby or
different activities or something. And if you never
know how you feel when youre alone, then you are not
a complete person because that side of you isnt
developed enough. I've been thinking more about that
kind of thing lately. I have always read, which I
enjoy, and I started playing street hockey at the city
recreational hall, which is fun. My friend was
telling me about how he signed up to take a
self defense class and a class on working with neon
lights. He has already made some really cool neon
sculptures. I have also been thinking about doing
something similar with stained glass windows. I really
liked some of the church windows we saw in England,
and I want to try and start making my own. I have been
doing some research, and I think it might be
interesting. Maybe checking out some of the local
colleges. You can
still take classes there. That or maybe you just need
a new life goal. I really felt happy when I
was backpacking through Egypt. I mean if you arent happy at
work and you are thinking about leaving, maybe save up
some money and move somewhere else like New York or go
backpacking for a few months or a year. Or even apply
at some of the overseas language schools. Its not like doing any of those things
will hurt you, and will in fact help you in the long
run because you will be more than you were before.
Said the other man to the one: Something more people need to read in a form other than a chain mail.
