| Hey! My name is Kimberly Hardy and I am a Junior Nursing student at the Medical College of Georgia in Athens. In addition to being your new GANS Secretary, I am also the President of my school's local GANS chapter. When I am not studying, I enjoy doing community service and hanging out with my friends. After graduation, I plan to work in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in Public Health. My main goal is to go bakc to school and become a Nurse Anesthetist. My love for children and the community and my drive to help others are the motivating factors for me to become a Nursing. Through my school chapter and GANS, I plan to become involved in many community service activities while maintaining adequate and up-to-date records of all GANS events and meetings. My main goals as Secretary is to keep open communication between GANS and NSNA while bridging the gap between GANS and the local chapters by becoming involved with the local chapter Secretaries. I wish you all the best of luck in your school work and in your local GANS chapters this year. I cannot wait to meet all of you at many of the GANS events this year!
