Hello! Everyone! My name is Carmen Lau. I'm 19 years old, currently studying at University of Manitoba, Faculty of Unversity 1. This is my second year of university and I'm learning a lot from it. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. (If you don't know where that is, look up an atlas and improve your geography skills) My interests are reading, writing stories, drawing, music(which includes pop, country, classical, and especially Asian), web surfing, computers, anime, creating homepages, badminton, volleyball, etc. I'm born in Hong Kong (and if you don't know where that is, I think you don't live on Earth). And something interesting about me, I'm born on the Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional festival of the fullest moon of the year's celebration in China and a lot of Asian places, but actually it originated in China. I just moved to Canada 4 years ago and have only recently obtained a Canadian citizenship. I speak and write Cantonese, English, Mandarin, and very little Japanese, as well as a few words of French. But I very much prefer people talk to me in either Chinese or English, since I understand these languages the best.
I have built a number of homepages in the past. The topics are wide-ranged from Asian Pop Stars to various anime series to my favourite TV series on air. My favourite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The X-Files. They are the best show I've ever seen on Earth. And no, I'm not exaggerating, so check it out!
