Augusta, the second oldest city in Georgia, is also the home of the second Alumni chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha founded in the state, Alpha Chi Lambda, host chapter of the 1999 Southern Regional Convention. Augusta/Richmond County is the hub of the 18 county Central Savannah River Area(CSRA). Known as the "Garden City of the South", the city is host to the most prestigous golf tournament in the world, "The Masters". The CSRA chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., welcome you to Augusta, plan to come early and stay late after the convention is over.
