Hi, I am Kevin, welcomed to my homepage.

I am living in a very warm family of two parents and a nice older sister. Also, I have a very beautiful wife. I am a sporty person. I like playing basketball very much. The idol for me is the greatest basketball player around the world--- Michael Jordan. Although he had resigned for a year, he is still my idol now (some photo about Mike).

I am a M. Phil year 2 student in the department of Biology of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.   I am very happy that I have been working in Dr. Kwan's Laboratory (377) for 4 years. The major interest of my research is to look for genes involved in fruiting development of the Shiitake mushroom, Lentinula edodes (»Û£, ShiangGu), which is the second most popular edible mushroom around the world. Molecular approach is employed in my research including transcriptional and functional characterization of interested genes. Although much effort should be contributed and unexpected results always happen, I do love my research. As a shiitake mushroom guy, I do hope that I can provide a little bit  contribution on this mushroom, and also hope that I can learn more from my research.

If you want to know more about me, please feel free to contact me through e-mail or ICQ.
