Admission Procedure for AIT
The admission to AIT is only through an entrance test which is conducted on all India basis.
The admission to various branches is made strictly in the order of merit in the Entrance examination.
The entrance test is held every year in the first week of May .This year the examination is on the 01 May 1999.
The advertisement for the same is given in the first week of January in some of the nations leading newspapers.
The entrance form & prospectus is available by remitting a DD for Rs 500 in the name of "AIT Entrance Examination ".
Please send the draft with the name of the student & student's address written at the back of the draft at this address
Please note that prospectus is available only through Bank Draft & not through Money order or cash.

Following are the minimum qualifications required for appearing in the entrance test:-
Students must have passed class 12 under CBSE or equivalent Board
Students must be wards of Army Personnel ( Retired or Serving ) only
Students must have at least 50% in the subjects of Physics ,Chemistry ,
Mathematics
and English in their class 12 examination.
The syllabus for the entrance test is as per the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE for class 12 .
The paper is generally of objective type questions in the subject of Physics , Chemistry &
Mathematics.The examination generally tests the students understanding in the said subjects.
