Centennial Club
On January 10, 1999, Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity will turn 100 years old. To help commemorate this landmark occasion, the Alumni Association and Board of Advisors for the University of Florida Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity is forming the Centennial Club. The Centennial Club will consist of individuals who have been associated with the University of Florida Chapter who believe in the strong ideals of brotherhood and friendship, and who want to re-dedicate themselves to our Fraternity on it's one hundredth birthday.
For a minimum contribution of one hundred dollars, members of the Centennial Club will have their name permanently etched in the Centennial Scroll, which will be displayed at the Fraternity chapter house in Orlando. In addition, there will be a special reception in honor of all Centennial Club members prior to the chapter's Red Carnation Ball in the Spring 1999 semester. Tekes initiated into the Gamma-Theta Chapter, Tekes affiliated with the University of Florida, and all TKE supporters (spouses, parents, Little Sisters/Order of Diana members, family & friends) are invited to join this special club. You may join yourself, or give a Centennial Club membership to another as a gift or dedicate a membership in their memory. If Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity has made a difference in your life or in the life of someone special to you, membership in the Centennial Club is a must. Take advantage of this special opportunity to commemorate Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity's 100th Anniversary by joining the Centennial Club today.

Investing in Our Future 65% of Net Proceeds
A full sixty-five percent of net proceeds from the Centennial Club will go to the Tau Kappa Epsilon, Inc. at the University of Central Florida Building Fund. The fund, which has currently raised more than $20,000.00, will be used to purchase a permanent chapter house in the UCF area - which will serve as a hub for the Fraternity.
Investing in Academic Achievement 20% of Net Proceeds
Twenty percent of the net proceeds from the Centennial Club will go toward benefitting the Xi Iota Chapter's academic programs, as supervised by the Alumni Board of Advisors. Academic Achievement funds may be used to create scholarships, purchase a computer or other such study aids which will comtribute to the chapter membership, and any other expenses which are aimed at increasing the academic performance of Tekes at UCF.
Building on our Foundation 15% of Net Proceeds
The remaining fifteen percent of the net proceeds from the Centennial Club will be used to build on our membership base at the University of Central Florida. These funds will be used to improve alumni relations, increase TKE's public image at the University of Central Florida, and to recruit quality incoming students to our Fraternity. This enhancement fund will be used to show our current chapter that our Centennial Club members care about the Fraternity's success today, as well as in the future.
