June 2002
Time has brought a lot of changes to my life, so let me update those who are returning and introduce myself to new visitors.
My wife Melody and I are proud parents of Victoria, who is now 18 months old. She just recently started "school" at SMS' Child Development Lab and is liking it more each day, much to the relief of her parents. She's a beautiful, sweet girl who loves to read books, visit her grandparents and splash in the fountains at Jordan Valley Park in Springfield.
Melody is currently working her way through the Speech-Language Pathology program at Southwest Missouri State. We're all very excited about this new beginning for her.
I am a 2000 alum of Southwest Missouri State University (B.S. Mass Media, emphasis in Broadcast Journalsim, minor in Religious Studies). I did so well in my broadcast classes that I am now the Sports Editor for the Branson Daily Independent and Taney County Times newspapers, covering Branson, Hollister and Forsyth High Schools, as well as College of the Ozarks, New Life Academy and SMS. In what little spare time I have, I enjoy my family, trying to play golf and watching various sports. Football and basketball are my old favorites, with ice hockey and baseball right behind them.
Mom and Dad (Grand and Papa to Victoria) are a nurse and a Deputy Assessor for Greene County, respectively, and thankfully just a 20-minute drive away. I have three siblinbs: Dr. Amy (a psychologist), Emily (a nurse, now living in Cali with my nurse brother-in-law and nephew Cameron) and John (a college football player at Avila).
Those are the basics. Until I can think of more to add, enjoy some pictures of me.
