The Canadian Chapter of the St. Joseph (Guyana) High School Alumni Association has created (effective August 1998) and will maintain this website in the hope of providing a worldwide link for all those individuals associated in some way with our school (i.e. past, present and future students and teaching staff, as well as other interested parties.

Since one of our goals is to assist in the rebuilding of our school, we would like to provide updates periodically on the progress of this undertaking and also to keep you informed in the areas of academics. This we hope to achieve through close and continued contact with the Principal and the local chapter of the Association. We invite other branches of our Alumni as well as the Principal, teaching staff and students of St. Joseph High School to submit articles to be posted to this site.

As the staff and students of St. Joseph strive to maintain and exceed the academic excellence that has become our tradition, we are sure our young people have many interesting views and opinions they would like to share with us. Hopefully, with the approval and assistance of the Principal, we can provide a forum for them to not only express themselves, but to showcase the many talent we are sure they possess. Some suggestions would be in areas of poetry, essay writing, story telling, etc. Details of scholastic achievements and annual graduation ceremonies would certainly awaken cherished memories of our former graduates.

We will do our utmost to maintain an up-to-date, dynamic and informative website with the intent of capturing and holding the interest of you, our visitors. Naturally, feedback will always be welcomed and appreciated.
