The new symbol of CE Readiness
July 2, 2003 New York City 12 June 2002 Harbor TourPheonix Readiness - November through December 2002

Name and Birthdate:
Kevin P. Rodgers
June 1974

I'm currently a member of the US Air Force, stationed at Kadena Air BAse, on the island of Okinawa, Japan.
My job, within the Air Force, is known as CE Readiness, which is a lot like FEMA, or a local Office of Emergency Management (OEM). I help to ensure that my base is prepared to deal with major accidents and disasters.

I was born a Brat, a Military Brat. For most of my life I moved from one place to another, Illinios, Germany, Northern California, Southern California, Wisconsin, New Mexico, back to Wisconisin, Texas, back to Germany..... and then came college, and I returned to Southern California. My High School Years were spent in and around the Baumholder Kaserne (US Army base), in Baumholder, Germany. After High School, I returned to Southern California, to attend California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), while there I majored in History. I finished college in 2000, moved to Iowa to be near family, and proceeded to enlist in the Air Force in 2001. From there, I attended Basic at Lackland AFB (San Antonio, TX), Technical School at Fort Lost in the Woods, Missery (aka Fort Leonard Wood, MO), and then I was transfered to my first duty assignment within the Air Force, Mcguire AFB, New Jersey. After McGuire, I spent a year and a half in Turkey, at Incirlik Air Base.

Hobbies and Interests:
What do I like to do? Well, that all depends on a combination of how much time I have, my resources, and whom I'm with (if anyone). I like to go Camping, Backpacking, & Hiking. I also like to Cook, Bake, & build things with my hands. I love to read. Be it a History Book, or Science Fiction (Yeah, I also read FMs, TMs, AFIs, TOs, AFMANs, etc., but those tend to put me sleep about as often as Math texts did back in college.... ie. ALWAYS). I also like to collect antiques, and visit museums. Art Museums are nice, but the museums I like are actually the history museums. I was a History major in college, so it's a pretty good bet I like History!!! There's also traveling. Be it a day trip or a vacation, or heck, even an excuse to get lost and take the "scenic route", I'm there! Finally, but definitely not least, there are those person's of the female persuasion... I REALLY like them! ;-) Especially when we cuddle, and kiss, spend time together......
