In less than three years in the Air Force, I have been permanently stationed at three different bases.

Maxwell AFB, Alabama

I am not sure if this one should count because this is were I went to Officer School. It was sort of like a temporary assignment, but since I had no other permanent station, I will count it anyway. I was dressed up here to celebrate my graduation. It was so good to be out of there. Such a strange world of obsessing about perfectly arranged uniforms, marching, and customs and courtesies seen nowhere else in the military.

Randolph AFB, Texas

Yee-haw! My attempts at country line dancing may have been disappointing, but this is where I earned my wings, and thus got my Air Force career literally off the ground. I graduated from navigator and electronic warfare school at Randolph. Being right outside of San Antonio made it a really good place to live, as there was always a lot to do. The picture to the far right is the altitude chamber, where they suck out all the air until we get a little bit loopy.

Offutt AFB, Nebraska

This is were I am currently stationed. Compared to Texas, the weather leaves a little to be desired, but it could be worse, I could be back in Alabama. The base in near Omaha, which actually is not bad, but the rest of the state is nothing but corn. I will probably be at this base for the next six years, as this is the only permanant base my plane flies out of.
