Unfortunately, this PBTECH site is now closed. I should like to take this opportunity to thank the 5,000 or so visitors to the site over the last thirteen months, not least Simon Craddock, who handed PBTECH over to me in the first place.
During the lifetime of the site, I learnt lots and lots of useful information on the basics and usage of HTML and visibility/usage from the viewpoint of the end user, and it will be put to good use for other sites I may work on/develop/maintain in the future. Nothing you learn / use in web HTML is wasted or a waste of time. Hence, I don't consider PBTECH as a waste of time either - it's been a useful learning curve for me.
In PBTECH's time, I learnt that certain things don't work together, be it colour schemes, navigation systems that use javascript on non Javascript browsers (oops!) and basic look and feel. And yet, there are many many more things that I have not had experience of yet, but the time will come. We can only build on what we know, and as they say, "The only way is onwards. There is no turning back."
And so it is with this that I bid you farewell and good luck in the things you do with your PB Computers in the future. And good luck to yourselves as well.
The best place on the web for PB Computers (at least European wise) is at
http://www.pb-user.com, and I recommend you go there now.
Regards,
Neil Jones, aka PBTECH
