Industrial experience and academic research achievements

• Scientist – with a multinational company, manufacturing Home and Personal Care products (United Kingdom), from August 2003 onwards.

• Surfactant Chemist – ADD Power Technologies Limited, Research Division at UCLAN, Preston, Lancashire, UK from April 2002 to July 2003.

• Research Scientist – Hair Care Products Research Division, Tokyo Research Laboratory, Kao Corporation, Sumida-ku, Tokyo, Japan. From April 2001 to March 2002.

• Science and Technology Agency (STA) Fellow – from 1999-2001, STA fellow at the National Institute of Materials and Chemical Research (NIMC), Tsukuba, Japan.

  Project : Rheological studies on viscoelastic surfactant systems.

• Organisational Scholarship- from M/s. Excel Industries Ltd. for Ph.D (1993-94), Jogeshwari, Mumbai, India.

• Scientist- Analytical Research - R & D Department , Excel Industries Ltd., Mumbai, from August 1991 to April 1993. Experience in analytical method development, and the instrumental & chemical analysis of agrochemicals, pesticides, bulk drug intermediates and industrial chemicals, specially in relation to the GC/HPLC and spectrophotometric analyses.
