"This is our access road from Hershey Highmeadow Camp. The water level at the tree in the center is about 7 feet by this point. This picture was taken from our backyard looking towards the camp.

"This is looking directly down the road. The building at the end is the camp's bathhouse. Keep in mind that there were campers in the lower field (between the bathhouse and the river) at 9PM the night before).

"Well, we didn't get any mail today. I suspect that it's because the US Mail service in Hummelstown doesn't have a canoe! If anyone would offer to pick up my bills and pay them for me, I'd be very thankful....If not, I have a reason for being late. Our mailboxes stand about 5' 7" high(ish), so at this point, the water is about 4' deep.

"Here, I have a picture of our neighbour's basement. The water in this area is about 5'5". I was in this water when it was waste deep and I can tell you, it's COLD and SLIMEY. I was in the basements of the homes turning furnaces off so that they wouldn't leak oil. Our basement is about the same, but we didn't have anything in it at the time. Our neighbours aren't so fortunate. They lost clothes and Christmas supplies.
That's all the pictures for now. Check back in a day or two for more.
