The Rastafarian Religion was founded in the 1930's by the philosopher, Marcus Mossiah Garvey. As with many other religions, the history begins before the group itself. Garvey proclaimed, "Look towards Africa for the crowning of a black king, he shall be the redeemer." A few years later, that prediction came true in the person of Haile Selassie I. Selassie has proved hiself to be the ONE. Jah, as we call him is a very big part of my life. I man look upon the Almighty for all of my answers. One Love, One World, Rastafari.
