Bibleverse's Testimony

Hi I'm Bibleverse. I went to church to worship God with my family. I'd like to share a time when God helped me through a difficult period. I was studying at university and doing assignments. It was about 1 month before exams when half my face did not work. I went to see a doctor who told me it was not serious. He put me on some medication and said that it would return to normal in 3-4 weeks. The medication caused mood swings. I would go from being very happy to very sad for no reason at all. But my face did not improve. I became really concerned because I thought that I would not be able to smile again. Also I felt embarrassed to go out in public because I felt that people were looking at me strangely. I could not concentrate on studying. I had exams coming up which I needed to pass or else I would have to repeat the whole year. I prayed to Jesus and a meaningful Bibleverse came to mind. It was from Psalm 91:9-12 "If you make the Most High your dwelling - even the Lord, who is my refuge - then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." I prayed to God, who is the most high, and I felt an inner peace and comfort that He was in control even though I myself was stressed, scared and anxious. He helped me through this difficult period when friends and family could only look on and express sympathy. They did not know what to say or do. Anyway, my face returned to normal after 6-8 weeks. I failed one exam but was able to resit and pass later. I was able to go out in public again but I know for certain that Jesus Christ and the Bible are real.
