Computer technology is becoming the need of the present and future. At presents, computers are being used in all walks of life such as Banking, Industries, Communication, Scientific research, Business management, Education etc. Therefor learning the use of computer has become necessary for almost every one. In response to this critical need, a team of private citizens in the city of Gujranwala has established a private training institute.

College of Computer Sciences is established with the aim to provide an institution to the youth of Pakistan, where Computer Science can be learnt and mastered at the hands of competent instructors on the latest IBM compatible environment. The training in this college would be helpful to get job in the competitive business environment and would also be helpful to the people already working in Government / Semi Government / Private offices in different capacities. The College has highly qualified and experience instructors who provide individual attention to the trainees.

FACILITIES

The following facilities are provided at the College of Computer Sciences (CCS)

1. COLLEGE STAFF

Staff members of CCS are the best available teachers an the relevant subject. All the staff members of CCS are carefully selected from a large numbers of applicants. The selection is based on the computer knowledge, desires to teach, capability of passing information to the students and ability to learn new idea.

2. COMPUTER LAB FACILITIES

At CCS, we believe in practical oriented teaching methods. Accordingly, our computer training, lab, which is decently furnished and air conditioned, has a large number of computers and supporting equipment. Students get a chance of working on latest computers operation like LAN (Local Area Network) and UNIX networking. Printers are available in the lab for students to obtain the hard copies according to their needs. All the latest software packages and programming languages are available on the network for students practical use.

TRAINING

A large number of staff, fully competent in handling all kinds of software or hardware problems are present in the lab round the clock.

ADMISSION CRITERIA!

Admission to the college will be objected to the following rules.

(a) Qualification:-
 

It would be essential for each candidates to be properly qualified for the course selected by the students which is minimum Matric.
 
1. Students Having Matriculation Certificate or appeared in Matric Examination and sure to get through are eligible to apply.
2. Documentary evidence of qualification has to be provided at the time of admission.

(b) Photograph / I.D. Card:-

A recent Passport size photographs and copy of N.I.C. should attached with the application.

TIMING & TRAINING SCHEDULE!

The College will operate on the following schedule.
 
A.  Timing:-

The College will remain open from 08:00 A.M. to 08.00 P.M. on all working days.

Thursday may be utilized by the student for Practice and Educational games only.

• Theory and Practical classes will be held daily.
• Each students will have the opportunity to operate the computer.
• At least one instructor & lab attendant will be available in computer lab during training time.

• Class test will be taken during the course by the instructors
• A mid term & a final examination will be arrange by the board concerned.

All students who successfully complete computer course in the college will be eligible to obtained certificate of attendance from the college and final certificate will be issued by the concerned board.

EDUCATION POLICY!

We follow the policies of Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore, Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Gujranwala & Punjab University Lahore.

DISCIPLINE

• Discipline is inevitable run any institution properly. That is why the student are made to follow the rules and regulations of the college in letter and spirit
• Every Parent / Guardian has to give a Certificate that his son / ward will not join any political organization.
• Discipline is inevitable to run any institution properly. That is why the student are made Principal will be fully authorized to expel any student found involved in activities repugnant to the rules of college.
• With the exception of special seats admission will be made on merit.
• During study hour visitors will meet any student with proper permission of the principal.
• Fees & Fund will be deposited in time otherwise will received with fine.
• The student who will remain absent without information or any reason for six days will be stuck off. In case of readmission will be charges special fine.
