Protocols

There is really a lot of information out there to help you. Book wise there are a few which are invaluable to our labs work, these are:

Perhaps a more useful source for information and protocols linked with specific products are the catalogues. We have quite a few now, but they are dead easy to get hold of and most of the biotec companies have homepages where they will give information like local suppliers (E'mail included) and are happy to send a catalogue for you. They will often also offer technical backup on their own products and are happy to entertain any questions you may have.

This is the minimal info that you'll need, but by its very nature can be a little out dated. There are a whole load of things you can search for on the net so here are a few links that are useful.

Apart from all that I am trying to gather a list of stuff that we regularly do in our lab so you can browse the KC lab Protocol page for things like that. Please remember this resource is only as good as you make it and will be most useful if you can add advice gained from personal experience.
