Morris Brown College nurtures the talents and abilities as well as meeting the needs of all other students who demonstrate academic potential. The College offers baccalaureate degree programs in more than 40 different areas to prepare students for entry-level employment, graduate or professional study, and public and military service.

Approximately 90 percent of Morris Brown's students receive some form of financial aid. The College participates in numerous federally-funded grant, loan, and college work-study programs and also awards, academic scholarships, A.M.E. Church scholarships, band awards, choir awards, sibling and twin waivers, and athletic grants-in-aid. Academic scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who have a minimum GPA of 3.1 and a combined SAT of at least 900 (or an ACT of 20), based on financial need. The scholarship is renewable and covers tuition. Presidential Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5, a combined SAT of at least 1100, or an ACT of 25. The scholarship is renewable and covers tuition, fees, and room and board.
