Gamma Sigma Sigma
Alpha Psi Chapter      Welcome members, friends and other visitors to the Gamma Sig Web page!  We are the Alpha Psi Chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma, the most energetic and entertaining sorority in the United States.  Our sorority specific mission is to help our campus and surrounding community while making the most of our college years.  In other words making an impact and having FUN at the same time!
    We attend Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO.  The chapter includes 30+ active members of many different interests and backgrounds.  We do many projects together and some individually.  One of our many projects has been ABC Quilts, which is our Project Impact.  Last semester alone we finished 17 quilts for babies born with the HIV virus.  We also took part in the Friends of the Park in Cape Girardeau.  Other service projects we have participated in together have been Habitat for Humanity, helping the Red Cross, Humane Society, Eldercare, Cottonwood and many others.  On the other hand we have many social events that bring us altogether in sisterhood.  We already have lots of fun social events planned for this year.
    One of our big upcoming events for fundraising is the dress consignment, where we plan on selling used prom dresses and party dresses.  There will be more on this later.  Other fundraising ideas are garage sales, bagging at grocery stores, and working at sporting events.
