FARC AND THE COLOMBIAN INTERNAL WAR HISTORY AND STRATEGIES OF THE OLDEST GUERRILLA. THE COLOMBIAN INTERNAL WAR IS NOT A STRUGGLE OF RIGHT VS. LEFT, BUT ONE OF REASON VS. HATRED, A WAR OF INTOLERANT CRIMINALS PROTECTING CORRUPTED INTERESTS; BRUTALLY FIGHTING COLOMBIANS WHO TRY TO BUILD A DEMOCRACY FOUNDED ON THE RESPECT OF HUMAN RIGHTS, AND ON PRINCIPLES OF SOCIAL JUSTICE. For 40 years the FARC has been at war against Colombia. They claim to fight for social justice but they are now just a powerful mafia: the No. 1 kidnappers in the world, one of the biggest drug traffickers, they are merely another assassin mob. The FARC keeps destroying life, hopes, and wealth in a promising nation struggling to beat poverty. Its madness and intolerance, added to that of Paramilitaries, of ELN, and of corrupted politicians and some corrupted members of the military, are the biggest obstacle to the Colombian social progress. Guerrillas and Paramilitaries, supposedly mortal enemies, are almost identical... in their intolerance, atrocities, cowardy, cinicism. |
