Rotary International is an association of clubs from about 165 countries across the world. There are now 1.2 million individual members (men and women) of those clubs actively serving communities around the globe.

The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. Rotarians are volunteers and indeed work many hours in a voluntary capacity locally and in the wider community.
