Faeries are either Seelie, that is good, kind and honourable, or Unseelie; mischievous, capricous and cruel.
Both types are usually depicted as small, beautiful humans in minature, complete with wings. A well known exception is the fairy godmother, who is usually around human height. |

Faeries are shy creatures who usually inhabit rural areas, although some are known to live in houses alongside humans. Ever unpredictable, such faeries may either help the inhabitants with domestic chores or make their lives a misery!
Faeries detest iron, and will avoid it if possible. |
