The Plot

Dave and Chrisgather together a group of friends, including Sophie (Chris' girlfriend), Paul, Kevin and Adrian, and head off to the New Forest.

Dave attempts to show his drinking prowess and challenges the others to get him drunk. They oblige by buying him drinks which he tops up with a few more pints.

At the end of the evening, Dave stumbles out into the car park and collapses to the floor. The others are unable to move him and he is barely concious. They call an ambulance and he is whisked of to the Major Trauma ward of a nearby city's General Hospital.

While Dave is tended to by the trauma nurse (Paltrow), a sub-plot unfold. This involves Paul sitting in the A&E waiting room watching an unfolding drama as the duty nurse (Gellar) fights to keep order.

What we say: *****

An interesting and thought provoking film that will shock, amuse, scare and worry you. The acting is all first rate, especially the anguish and guilt of those involved.
In a daring move, the soundtrack is filled with covers of 'classic' rock songs performed by Covered In Ale and this helps convey a sense of Dave's age.
The film is generally free from sex and nudity, although there is one very amusing scene towards the end where a recently recovered Dave, wearing only his underpants, is apologising profusely.
Based on a true story (except without Gwyneth Paltrow and Sarah Michelle Gellar).
What you say:
Average Score: *
Disgusted of Surrey, UK. Deeply offensive, vulgar and grotesque. And he's even worse when he's puking.
