Sequels are a funny thing. An attempt to recapture the original, but also do something original. The original Cycling Thing was a story following us on our journey across Ireland. It was a story of triumph over the challenge. The sequel however, is a very different story. The journey mainly takes place by car, features different people and is altogether darker. There is still cycling though. And rain. And getting lost. So perhaps its not that different...

Part 1: Once again, the story begins with a trip to the Isle of Wight. But unlike last year, there's a couple of brushes with death and no rain.

Part 2: The journey begins with Team Lard's 1998 line up travelling to the English Westcountry. Who will take up the challenge of the Skree Slope?(not me!)

Part 3: Team Lard prepare to enter the Forest. But who will return?
