TO BE YOUNG, SAVED AND BLACK

Portrait of a Writer...

Ebony Elizabeth Thomas

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
Selah.

Psalms 46:1-3, KJV

Selah (my GeoCities member name) is a Hebrew term which indicates a pause or musical interlude in the middle of a psalm or praise song. I believe that sometimes we must pause at specific times during our life's journey to reflect on what we believe, why we believe it... and why those beliefs are essential to the world.

This site, To Be Young, Saved, and Black is dedicated to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In it, you'll find a potpourri of my writings. A personal profile. And links to sites of Christian, African-American, and collegiate interest.

Enjoy and be blessed! If the Lord says the same, more to come in the near future!
