Welcome to my home page and thanks for visiting! I suppose I should begin by introducing myself. I am Reverend Danielle Gaither (click the link for a further explanation), and I have used this page as a great way to teach myself the basics of web design.
One tidbit of knowledge I can give to you starters out there: don't try to get too fancy. Heaven knows I tried using all kinds of color schemes and backgrounds, most of which were pretty horrid. For a while, I decided simply to dispense with all the fancy colors and go for something basic and universally readable. Now I'm working on finding a middle ground. We'll see how it goes. Let this be a lesson to those of you new designers out there.
