I have many favorites such as Tony De La Rosa , Ruben Vela , Jaime y Los Chamacos , Emilio , Mingo Saldivar , Ruben Naranjo , and Valerio Longoria just to name a few but The Hometown Boys are number one in my book.
I would also like to mention the number one Conjunto group in Japan and also one of my favorites Kenji Katsube y Los Gatos De Japon they can get the crowd jumping.
Oh, if anyone is curious this be me. I would also like to mention a great event that takes place every year in the Tejano Capitol of the world, San Antonio, the Conjunto festival which brings together Tejano fans from all over the world. This is an event you don’t want to miss. Here are a few pictures from moments captured at the Conjunto Festival, 1,

The Hometown Boys are by far the best Conjunto. They unlike most Tejano groups have not given up there traditional style, the Accordion and Bajo Sexto are still the soul of there music. They are the XIXth TTMA nominee for Album - Conjunto Traditional - " Como Nunca"
Here is a link to an article that mentions five nominations for the 17th annual Tejano Music Awards.
