The Natural Law Party of the United States of America suspended its operations in 2004 in recognition of the efforts of the US Peace Government. In a statement issued July 2, 2004, party founders Kingsley and Leslie Brooks announced the decision by the party's Executive Committee, explained how the US Peace Government would carry forward the programs and vision of the party, and said, "We encourage all supporters of the Natural Law Party to consider giving their support now to the US Peace Government."
