Mackinac Island Townhouse
Come to Mackinac Island and step back in time. While one of the oldest settlements in the Midwest, it was in the 1880s and 1890s Mackinac changed greatly. Business investment by large railroad companies and personal wealth led to the construction of opulent Victorian summer homes. John Oliver Plank  built the Grand Hotel in less than four months. Meat packers, lumbermen, and railroad barons constructed elegant “cottages” on Mackinac’s West Bluff, East Bluff, and Annex.

One of the best ways to enjoy Mackinac Island is to find yourself with friends and family at a beautiful private townhouse located on the island and experience the relaxed charm of Mackinac. This will give you extra time to take a carriage tour through the town streets and wave to the day trippers catching the last ferries back to the mainland. In the late afternoon you can stroll the streets, gaze at the colors of the sunset over the water and then catch some great evening entertainment.
